This semi-sweet mildly-sour mead is produced from raw honey from the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
It’s cloudy, orangey, grapefruity and deliciousy. We could have made it clear but it sacrifices some flavour the more it’s filtered so we left this one as is.
Produced from raw honey from the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
Honey used in our meads have been filtered but otherwise untouched.
This particular mead is 14% alcohol and comes in a 750ml bottle.
Our bees visited around one million flowers to create this bottle of mead and flew approximately 44,000km.
We use a tiny amount of potassium metabisulfite to sterilise wild yeast in honey before fermentation starts (as we like raw unheated honey), probably not enough to even worth mentioning but we put it on the label just in case.
Shake gently before serving to mix any fruit pulp that has settled.
