Some dissolved CO2 will be present to keep it fresh, you may hear a pop when removing the cork. If the bottle is full and you reapply the cork without taking any liquid out there is a chance the cork can pop off on it’s own due to dissolved CO2 wanting to escape. For this reason we don’t recommend opening the plastic seal until you are actually ready to drink it.
