At Honey Wines Australia, nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley, we are thrilled to introduce our newest offering: a combined mead tasting and stargazing experience. This unique event marries the ancient art of mead-making with the timeless allure of the night sky, providing an unforgettable evening for our guests.

Part One: Mead Tasting with Grazing Platter

Your evening begins with a curated tasting session featuring six of our handcrafted meads. Mead, often referred to as honey wine, is one of the oldest fermented beverages, and we take pride in producing a diverse range of flavours to tantalise your palate. Our current selection includes:

• Traditional (Plain) Mead
• Turkish Delight
• Lemon and Ginger
• Cherry & Coconut
• Orange and Grapefruit
• Mana Potion (mixed fruits)

Part Two: Guided Stargazing Session

Following the tasting, we invite you to join us for a 1.5-hour guided stargazing tour. Utilising our 8-inch Dobsonian telescope, our guide will lead you through the celestial wonders visible in the Southern Hemisphere. Whether you’re an avid astronomer or a curious novice, this session offers a captivating glimpse into the cosmos.
